Xiaomi had officially stepped into Russian market last week by launching three new smartphones – Mi MIX, Mi Note 2 and Redmi 4X, six months after it started selling products in the country through a partnership with distributor RDC. Xiaomi’s Senior VP Wang Xiang attended the Mi launch event in Moscow.
Xiaomi started overseas expansion three years ago. The company is already selling its products in over 20 countries and regions, including China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, India, Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia, Brazil, Vietnam, UAE and more countries. Back in 2014, it announced plans to expand to several countries including Turkey and Mexico.

The Xiaomi Mi MIX 18K (6GB + 256GB), Mi Note 2 (6GB + 128GB) and Redmi 4X are priced at 39,990 rubles (US$ 701 / Rs. 45,059 approx.), 34,990 rubles (US$ 613 / Rs. 39,425 approx.) and 19,990 rubles (US$ 350 / Rs. 22,520 approx.), respectively, available online, with promotions on RDC’s official website, as well as stores, with the Redmi 4X, also available at operators and stores of major retail partners.
