LeEco Le 2
LeEco Le 2LeEco a newly Chinese company entered into India in early 2016, and by the month of June, they launched the LeEco Le 2 in India. The phone packed Snapdragon 652 SoC, with 3GB RAM. The highlighting factor of the Le 2 was the omission of 3.5mm headphone jack and the premium design & build of the phone. The phone was launched in Rose Gold color at Rs. 11,999. The most disappointing thing about the Le 2 was the build quality as there was a cracking noise which used to come when the display of the device was press from the middle. To which the company responded to the use of rubber gasket below the LCD panel which makes noise when suppressed. Still is device was powerful in terms of daily usage and the camera was also slightly better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3.

Pros: Premium Build and Finish, Great performance, Decent Camera Results

Cons: No Headphone jack, Cracking noise, Fingerprint recognition not accurate after a couple of months.

Moto G4 Plus
Motorola’s most awaited G series called Moto G4 Plus launched last year in two variants – G4 and G4 Plus. The Plus variant was more to talk about as it was better and didn’t break the bank. The Moto G4 Plus launched with Snapdragon 617 SoC and 3GB RAM. The most highlighting factor about this device is the 16MP rear which has an f2.0 aperture. This camera is one of the best camera found on any android device in Budget Smartphone series. The camera captures some great shallow depth of field due f2.0 aperture and can take great macro shots with excellent bokeh effects. There are a lot of details in the pictures and images looks crisp. The turbo fast charging from Motorola is also a great addition. The phone has it’s bad aspects as well when it comes to performance, the device is snappy but can’t reach to same performance level as the Redmi Note 3 or the Le 2 due to Snapdragon 617 SoC. Also, the heating issue was a major concern in this device. Motorola launched the device at Rs, 14,999 in two colors – black and white.
