Micromax Bharat 2 now available at Rs. 3499 with 4-inch display, 4G VoLTE

Micromax had earlier announced their new series called Bharat and Micromax Bharat 2 was the first smartphone in that series. Now, the Bharat 2 is available from offline retail stores.

The smartphone packs a 4-inch WVGA screen is powered by a quad-core processor and runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow). It has a 2-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and has a VGA front-facing camera. Also,  the phone has a dual SIM support, similar to most other Micromax smartphones.

The Micromax Bharat 2 (Q402) comes in Gold color and is priced at Rs. 3499, however, the MRP on the box is Rs. 3,750, according to Mumbai-based retailer Mahesh Telecom. The official launch is expected soon.

Looking at the specifications, the Intex Aqua E4 with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage seems like a better deal at a cheaper price of Rs. 3333. Also, the LYF Flame 5 is priced at Rs 2,999 and comes with a 4-inch WVGA TN display with Asahi Glass protection. The Budget smartphone is powered by a quad-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz. The smartphone comes with 512MB of RAM, and 4GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 32GB via a microSD card.  the LYF Flame 5 sports a 5-megapixel rear camera with auto-focus, LED flash, and HDR. Up front, the smartphone houses a 2-megapixel selfie camera. The smartphone is backed by a 1,650mAh battery, and on the software front, the smartphone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop. Connectivity options include dual-SIM support, Bluetooth 4.0, and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n.
