One of the major drawbacks of Galaxy Note 5 was it’s smaller battery.Despite introducing features like fast wireless charging, there is no hiding the fact that the battery is relatively small. PhoneArena reports that Samsung plans on launching a Galaxy Note 5 variant with a massive 4,100mAh battery.
This new variant might be called as Galaxy Note 5 Active, which packs a huge 4,100 mAh battery with IP68 certification which makes it water proof, but the only con with the device may be that it could be a AT&T exclusive. In other words, you won’t be able to buy the smartphone anywhere else.
Samsung revealed the Galaxy Note 5 alongside the Galaxy S6 Edge+ at its Unpacked event earlier this month. While the company has since launched the Galaxy S6 Edge+ in India, priced at Rs 57,900, there is still no hint on when the Galaxy Note 5 will go on sale.
