After Asus, Dell also decides to launch 2-in-1 Laptops at Computex 2016 held at Taipei, Taiwan. With the launch of 2-in-1 Laptops, Dell is making a bold move with it’s Inspiron 17 7000 series which is world’s first 17-inch 2-in-1 laptop and also introducing a special infrared camera to support the Windows Hello feature of Windows 10 (logging in with just your face). Since 17-inch display might not be upto everyone’s liking hence Dell is also launching 13-inch and 15-inch versions of the Inspiron 7000. All three models will include Intel’s 6th generation Core processors, and they’re launching in June priced from $749 onwards.
In the budget segment for 2-in-1 laptop is the new Inspiron 11 3000. As the name suggest, it’s an 11-inch model with a 1366 x 768 display. It’s a little underpowered due to the Intel Core M3 processor, but at just $249 it’s ideal for students or someone looking for a basic combination of tablet and laptop. It features USB 3.0 port and Micro SD. The device comes with Waves MaxxAudio Pro for audio controls and tuning. It comes with SSDs that offer longer battery life, quicker responsiveness, quieter performance and improved shock resistance compared to conventional HDDs. Dell says the Inspiron 11 3000 will be available in China and the US on June 2nd.
In the mid – range segment of Dell Inspiron 5000 2-in-1 laptops comes in 13 inch and 15 inch variants and features a wide-angle FHD resolution display. They have an infrared camera option that lets you login with Windows Hello. The devices have a backlit keyboard option.
