Cyanogen 13.1 update for Oneplus One

Cyanogen 13.1 update bring new features to Oneplus One. Oneplus One was launched back in 2014, Two years aged Cyanogen people still pushing updates to OPO. That’s very good news for Oneplus One owners considering Oneplus 2 was launched with Oneplus own ROM named Oxygen OS. Oneplus One was launched with high-end Specs barring the cost, and still is continuing to hold given the fact Oneplus 3 is coming in few days.

So what’s new with Cyanogen 13.1

Cyanogen includes Mod’s in their software to provide better user experience to Oneplus One onwers. Apps like Cortana, Skype, Microsoft One Note, Twitter and Microsoft’s Hyperlapse got the new Mod. A easiest to interact with the user ans thus saves time.

Now Skype Calls will directly picked up form phone’s app. It’s easy to switch call from a cellular voice call to a Skype video call. It can now even add more Skype credit to the account directly from the phone app. Search the app via phone’s app and you can now directly do skype call.

Now Cortana, Virtual assistant can be accessed from lock screen allowing to launch camera, set alarms and reminders and even search. But sadly, Cortana is only available in U.S as of now. Now Cortana can also take a selfie.

The New Twitter Mod allows users to see their favourite, trending tweets directly on lockscreen. They don’t even have to unlock the phone. That’s a very nice feature in my opinion. Users can also tweet directly from lockscreen. Wake your device up, swipe left, and you’re treated to an immersive fullscreen Twitter experience.

The Update brings to work from the email and phone apps to help you stay organized.  Easily get your ideas down on your device by selecting the OneNote tile in Quick Settings. Once they are saved, you can go back and access them easily from wherever they were originally taken, or from your OneNote quick notes section.
