Cat Phones are known for their rugged design and it’s latest flagship Cat S60 is launched in India. The device was first showcased at MWC 2016 as the World’s First Smartphone with Built-in Thermal Camera. As the phone is rugged, it is waterproof and is safe up to 5 meters for one hour. The phone can survive drops onto a concrete surface from up to 1.8 meters.
The phone has a vivid display and can be viewed under bright sunlight, apart from this the touch display is sensitive to wet hands and will be controlled using gloves as well. It also comes with a Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection.
Talking about the highlighting thing about this smartphone is the Thermal Camera from FLIR. The purpose of the camera is to detect heat loss around the windows and door, spot moisture and missing insulation. It can also identify over-heating electrical appliances and circuitry and see in complete darkness.
