In the month of April, Sir had revealed that Apple will host it’s WWDC 2016 conference from June 13 till June 17 in San Francisco. Now, Apple has made it official by sending the invites for the event which will take place on June 13 at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium at 10:30PM IST. The venue is the same as last year’s where Apple unveiled the new iPad Pro and fourth-generation Apple TV along with the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus.
WWDC 2016 will be live streamed on Apple’s Website. For the live stream to work, you will need an iPhone, iPad and iPod touch devices, and on Mac OS X with Safari browser. Windows 10 users can watch the event live on Microsoft Edge browser. Apple also has a WWDC app for iOS where the event will be live streamed.
Apple is likely to unveil the latest software update it has been working on for iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, Apple TV and Mac OS X. Apple may also announce updates to Apple services such as a redesigned Apple Music app.
Besides the software updates, it is expected that Apple may also unveil its rumored Siri-integrated home speaker. This speaker will directly compete with the Amazon Echo and Google’s upcoming Google Home speaker, which it had showcased at its I/O 2016 developer conference. Additionally, Siri may also gain third party support and full Mac OS X functionality.
