SanDisk Extreme PRO & Extreme Go USB Flash Drives, Ultra SD Card Announced in India

Today Sandisk has launched some new storage devices in India. Sandisk Extreme PRO USB 3.1 flash drive, Extreme Go USB 3.1 Flash Drive and SanDisk Ultra 256GB  microSDXC UHS-I card. The Sandisk Ultra 256G microSD card was earlier showcased at CES 2017 as the world’s first microSD card with  Application Performance Class 1 (A1) requirements from the latest SD Association’s SD 5.1 specifications.

This card has a read speed of up to 95MB/s. The A1 specification allows the new card to manage random read input-output access per second (IOPS) of 1,500 and write IOPS of 500. With the help of this card, you can store up to 24 hours of Full HD videos. SanDisk Memory Zone app lets you view, access, and back up your phone’s files in one location. It can also automatically move files from your device to your memory card to free up space. Sandisk claims that the card is Waterproof, temperature proof, shockproof, and X-ray proof.

SanDisk Extreme PRO USB 3.1 Flash Drive

These solid state drives come in 256GB and 128GB capacities. They are capable of 420MB/s of read speeds and 380MB/s of write speeds as Sandisk claims. The Extreme PRO USB flash drive is based on USB 3.1 technology. This flash drive comes in an aluminum metal casing to help protect the drive from everyday wear and tear. Also, this drive is Backward-compatible, so you can plug it into any USB 2.0 or 3.0 port. SanDisk SecureAccess software protects your privacy with 128-bit AES encryption. Easy to password-protect critical files.

SanDisk Extreme Go USB 3.1 Flash Drive

These Flash Drives come in 64GB and 128GB capacities. They are capable of 200MB/s of read speeds and 150MB/s of write speeds as Sandisk claims. The Extreme Go drive is based on USB 3.1 technology. Also, this drive is Backward-compatible, so you can plug it into any USB 2.0 or 3.0 port. SanDisk SecureAccess software protects your privacy with 128-bit AES encryption. Easy to password-protect critical files.
