OPPO A37

OPPO A37 launched – 4G LTE, 7.6mm Thin

Earlier this month OPPO launched A59, and OPPO has today launched another affordable smartphone in its A series, called the OPPO A37 in China, priced at 1,299 Yuan (Rs 13,300 approximately).  Now it has introduced the smartphone for global markets. The OPPO A37 will be going on sale in Singapore and Indonesia, but there is currently no word on an India launch.

It has a 5-inch HD screen with 2.5D arc edge glass, runs on Android 5.1 (Lollipop) with ColorOS 3.0, comes with a 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera, similar to the Chinese version, but this is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 410 SoC instead of octa-core MediaTek MT6750 processor.

It has dual (nano) SIM support with dedicated SIM and microSD slots in a single tray, unlike hybrid SIM slots in the Chinese variant. It also comes with 4G LTE connectivity and packs a 2630mAh built-in battery.

The OPPO A37 comes in Gold, Rose Gold and Grey colors. If OPPO launches in this price range, the A37 will face tough competition from Xiaomi Redmi Note 3, LeEco Le 2 and the Lenovo K4 Note as it does not meet the same specification.
