Lenovo launches Moto Z, Moto Z Force

Lenovo had recently launched the new Moto Z lineup of smartphones. This new z lineup replaces the Moto X lineup.The first two smartphones in this lineup are called the Moto Z and the Moto Z Force. The unique aspects of these new smartphones are their semi-modular capabilities.

The external module that can be removed are called the Moto Mod. These modules can be connected to a smartphone without having to switch them off via the ’16 magnetic’ port. These modules include

Flipbook-Product-Center-State1-Speakervnaap9dv1. JBL’s SoundBoost, which will boost the devices’ audio output.


Moto Z InstaShare2. InstaShare mod turns your smartphone into a projector, and the device will be able to project a display up to 70-inches.


Moto Z Power Pack3. Power Pack mod which the company claims can boost the smartphones’ battery life by up to 23 hours.


The new Moto Z and the Moto Z Force are going on sale soon in select markets. While the company hasn’t revealed the pricing or an exact launch date, it did say that the Moto Z will be available globally from September. There is no word on the Moto Z Force global launch, though it would launch as the Moto Z Force Droid on Verizon in the US.
