HP EliteBook Folio & Elite X2 1012 Notebooks launched

HP Inc. launched two new notebooks taking the business and personal requirements of the Indian customers into consideration. The new notebooks include HP EliteBook Folio and HP Elite X2 1012 notebooks. “At HP, we are pushing the envelope in design, productivity, security and entertainment to build innovative products for ‘One Life’,” Ketan Patel, Director (personal systems) HP Inc. India, told reporters.


HP EliteBook Folio

HP EliteBook Folio is the thinnest (12.4 mm) and lightest (under 1 kg) business notebook from HP offering better security and manageability features and priced at Rs 1,28,000.  It has 12.5-inch Full-HD UWVA ultra slim LED-backlit touch screen, is powered by Intel Core M5-6Y54 with Intel HD Graphics 515 (1.1 GHz, up to 2.7 GHz with Intel Turbo Boost Technology, 4 MB cache, 2 cores), 8GB LPDDR3 RAM, and 256GB SATA SSD.

HP Elite X2 1012

HP Elite x2 1012 starts at Rs 95,000 and offers the productivity of a full notebook with the convenience of a tablet perfectly designed for the professionals on the go as it has a detachable backlit keyboard. It has built-in 3G connectivity and integrated fingerprint reader. The keyboard has integrated NFC and smartcard reader. There is also a Pen stylus like the Surface Pro.


The Elite x2 is crafted from milled CNC aluminium and is just 8.1 mm thin. The tablet weighs less than 840 grams and has a built-in kickstand with 150 degrees of adjustability, allowing a user to set the device upright for viewing and keyboard typing or laying it back for on-screen typing. The device’s 12-inch diagonal anti-glare HD diagonal display has a 3:2 aspect ratio and automatically adjusts to different lighting conditions.  it is powered by Intel Core M processor with 8GB of RAM and 256GB SSD. Both notebooks come with Windows 10 Pro 64 pre-installed.
