Google Assistant

Google Assistant Now Accessible on OnePlus 3 via OTA Update

Recently, we got to know that Google Assistant will be rolled out to all android devices which run on Android Marshmallow. The google assistant can be enabled via an OTA update to Google play services. Some users claim that they have received the Google Assistant for OnePlus 3.

Google Assistant is an AI virtual assistant, similar to Google Now and Siri. It will work on android devices only. It has got more conversational skills compared to Google Now and more accurate.

And here are a few other things to try out—just long press on the Home button or say “Ok Google” to get started:

  • What’s my confirmation number for my London flight?
  • Take me to Museu Picasso.
  • Show my photos of sunsets in Tahoe.
  • Do I need an umbrella today?
  • Turn on the living room lights.

Hopefully the update is rolling out in batches, hence it might take some time to hit your device, in case you are not a OnePlus 3 user, do not get disappointed Google has got you covered,  as they officially announced that The Google Assistant will automatically come to eligible Android phones running Nougat and Marshmallow with Google Play Services.
