Fitbit Launches it’s Wearables Devices in India

Fitbit is officially launching in India next month. The company is exclusively going to sell it with Amazon, where it will sell five fitness and activity trackers as well as a wireless scale. The devices will go on sale in the first week of July.

Fitbit is the world’s largest wearable brand and had shipped 3.9 million units in the first quarter of 2015. The company has established its office in Delhi and is looking at expanding into offline retail as well.

Fitbit will bring its entire product portfolio in India. The range will start from the entry-level Zip (Rs 3,990), Flex (Rs 6,990), Charge (Rs 9,990), Charge HR (Rs 12,990) and Surge (Rs 19,990). It is also bringing its Smart Wi-Fi Scale Aria for Rs 9,990.

The Fitbit Charge HR and Surge have continuous heart rate monitoring and the Surge, which is aimed at fitness enthusiasts, also has GPS to track runs. US President Barack Obama was also seen wearing the Surge recently.
